“My favorite hobbies in my youth, and over the years, have been sewing and art. Now in retirement I can play and experiment with the many ways of combining the two. I love using fabric as my paint, the sewing machine as my brush, and many different techniques to turn my imaginings into pieces of art. I start out in excitement, often pass through a period of trepidation in the middle waiting to see what evolves, and then rejoice in the finished product. Love this new journey!”
