“I consider myself still to be in the discovery phase of this art form. No two of my art pieces have ever asked me to follow the same path from conception to completion. What I have learned, after the fact, is that I draw from every art form and needlework technique I have ever studied. I have discovered that I prefer dimensionality in my pieces, I love mixing different kinds of textile arts together, and I am always going to succumb to the lure of color and texture.”
