Christina Rocha

“I felt an instant connection to cloth when I started sewing garments at the age of 16. I started as a traditional quilter and started exploring fiber art when I moved to Thousand Oaks in 2006. My inspiration comes from family, life experiences, home, and other artists’ works. I like to incorporate various threads, digital photography, found objects, beads, buttons, fabrics, paints and hand stitching to enhance my pieces.”
